Question Audio Set Up

I just got the o8 Lancer DE. I want to add some bass to the system but I don't know if I can add bass to the factory set up???

Any suggestions?

I'm curious to see what the deck kit will look like being that the stock radio is designed into most of the dash...

You might be able to use one of these integraters and a powered sub.

Alot of companies make amps with built in speaker level inputs, which gets rid of the need for a "Line Out Converter". Saves you a few bucks, a few minutes install, and makes things easier to setup.

I have two jl audio w3's in my gts, and running a 1200 watt amp: all is
hooked up to my factory head unit, all you need is a converter which any
audio shop will have on hand...

Theres no dash kit available for the new gts so you will have to wait to put an aftermarket head unit.... Probably wont be out for another month or two im guessing.

I think you will be able to do the factory hook up, just go to the parts department and find the number for the sub and amp then order it, and they can install it for you.. I love the factory ten it sounds good!

Hello. I'm from Russia.
Where can I find a standard RockFord amplifier (650 watt)? Where is it installed in GTS version? I want to change this unit. Could you take a photograph of this unit? Thank you very much.

I just completed adding a 12" subwoofer and a 500watt amp. The sub is connected to the backspeakers and the amp is powered to the car battery . The "REMOTE" to turn the amp off while the car is turned off is plugged into the engine fuse box under fuse "31" or "32" which ever is for diesel.I am pretty sure this will be ok for the amount of current being pulled by the amp because that fuse slot requred a 30A fuse...which is pretty high (especially compared to the rest of the fuses) The wires were run alongside the car under the front dash, to the drivers right, through a small hole that runs above the splash guards (splash guards should be partly removed) then up through the side under the hood and to the battery and fuse box. No converters or anything were needed and the system sounds great. adding converters or bass boosters will only increase the bass. I just wanted to add a little something and it worked great. I will have some photographs up tonite.
