Help on....

i noticed that my car sounded pretty nice when i took of the lile tube thing that redirects air strait to my air filter. im just wondering if this is bad if i leave it that way for now. i drove with out that thing for about 2 miles and it sounded pretty good actually. it was like i had an intake or some sort. i was just wondering if this is bad for the engine if i left it as it is now.

Pretty much what you've done is created a true WAI (Warm Air Intake). You'll most likely notice a small loss in power but a small jump in fuel economy.
