Side Skirts on an 05 ES

Hi everyone,
I just recently bought some OEM OZ side skirts for my ES. How would I go about installing it? I see some clips that are attached to the side of the skirts, but not the bottom. Would I need to drill holes in the sides of my car and what screws or clips will i need to attach the bottom holes? Could someone maybe direct me to a previously install thread or have some pictures of their installation. Thanks

they should have pre placed holes there which harware should have been given when you got the side skirts...there pop rivits and pop right in...i see how the 06 works so the 05 should be the same since the only thing different it the front

Thanks for the reply. There are premade holes on the bottom of the skirts, it's L-shaped I guess so it suppose to slip under. However, I am refering to the side of the skirt where there are several clips sticking out. Am I suppose to take those clips out and just mount with the bottom clips or should I drill holes to the side of my car to better secure it? Or are these clips supposed to be used in the bottom holes? I'm confused lol.

I went to the dealer and they said that I needed these kind of screws: Parts No. MS450174 - Tapping, Black, 4x16. I thought the autoparts stores would know about it, but they don't. Does anyone know what kind of screws these are and where one could find them? The parts dept. is closed tommorrow so I'd thought I try my luck here. Thanks.

The dealer also recommended that I should drill onto the side, but I'm going to use 3M tape instead like members on the forum have previously done. It's the bottom screws that really matters anyways.

You didn't get those side skirts off ebay did you? If you did, i'm mad lol. I tryed to bid against you. I was trying to get a set for the es I was going to be like a day after the auction. Anywho, I did the same thing your doing to yours on my old eclipse. I'd just get the factory parts to do it. its not to hard
