Carbon fiber gas door

Is anyone else interested in a carbon fiber gas door for our 08. Maybe if we show RoadRace that the demand will be high, they will start on it. I think it would look sweet on any color lancer.

I think it just looks like a waste. CF should be used to lower the weight of the car, not for gasdoor bling...

carbon fiber can also be used for appearance -(cf shift knobs, interior pieces, rrm spark plug cover). Carbon fiber isnt really bling, chrome is bling.

I would look to spend my money elsewhere on the car. but... you could simply take off your gas door, send it to fibercation.com or Road Race's Carbontrix and have them coat it in carbon fiber. Since now I'm assuming you only want it for looks, just get it coated

That's called rice (when a lightweight material used in racecars is used for "appearance"). If you think rice and bling are different things, we will agree to disagree.

Hey, since your not getting much credit on here...I think a cf gas door would look sweet. Maybe even one of those brushed alluminum ones. If you look at Mitsubishi's heritage...some of their previous models included a different style gas doors, varying from the car color. 2000 or so eclipses.

Go RRM, I'd be interested.

In 6 years, they never made a CF gas door for the CS6A or CS7A... I just don't see them doing it for the CY4A chassis either. *shrug*

I appreciate the backup. I thought I was all alone.
