hey guys.. so i bought an HID kit and was going to put it on but i've been running into a few problems along the way.

so when i went to take out the headlight to put the bulbs in, i found that the bulb fits into the socket but there are no brackets for the metal bracket to cling on. (BTW i have the jdm headlights). so basically the bulb doesn't sit into the thing.. i was thinking about putting an extra circular backing so that it'd be used to clamp the thing in place but we'll see.

another thing is that because i got the jdm headlights, i had to splice the wires. just curious if anyone knows which is is positive or negative or if that matters. when i put the normal bulbs in, i just guessed cause i couldn't tell (there was no indication) and luckily everything worked. but now i really have to figure out which one goes where so if anyone could put up a pic that would be great!

thanks guys.. this is probably a newb question but i searched and all i got were "ballast placement issues" and "check out my HIDs" with no pics of placement or problems.
