HID Install Help

I am about to order some HID's for my 03 lancer but I have no clue on its installation. Can someone please post a "how-to" for the 03 lancers. Any input is appreciated

I know and those kits are expensive i don't wanna do something wrong and mess it up... hopefully someone will show some love for us 02-03 guys

Honestly, use the same directions for any vehicle... just cuz it's a different housing doesn't mean much. It's the same bulb, same setup (nothing extra cuz it's a Lancer), and installs the same.

Thanks man... i did find instructions on other cars online but didn't find anything as far as aiming the HIDs. Do u know how to aim them?

I'm assuming you would aim them the same as you would with your stock lights, because you are replacing the bulb with a similar one. But then again, what do I know about HID?

No they're not the same thing as aiming stock lights cus i don't even have to aim stock lights cus the stock headlights are not HIDs they're just halogen.

find a plug and play kit on ebay,should be 100 bucks, all you doin is pluggin the ballast into your existing light connector and vwala....just like changing a regular light bulb.

^Just what I'm trying to get at...but he's worried about aiming & alignment like he had taken his headlamps off the car or something.

Plug'n'play probably the easiest, but it's not difficult to install those ones either.

hey dude i have also got new hids and i was wondering where u put ur ballest i am having trubls finding a spot for the passenger side ballest if u culd take a pic of where u put it that wuld b great dude thanx
