I found a magical button in my Evo's coin cubby(looks different than above pic)....I think the previous owner used that button to switch between maps....I dunno.

I too pressed it hoping for that magical 5000HP gain and got nothing . .... .. ... ... .. .... . nada........ zero.....ziltch.......

I got it! It is the reset switch for my aftermarket alarm. I didnt want it there so I just took it off and let it sit behind the panel. Plus it might slow a thief down a bit if he is searching for it. Now if I could only remember to turn down my music because when I use my remote start the bass sets off my alarm resulting in me running outside in my shorts into a VERY cold world.
