Botton near the pedals??

Botton near the pedals??

today i was installing my fog/driving lights and i saw a small black botton on the left side of the dead pedal im going to take some pictures tonight

pretty sure that's just a grommet and not a button.

i dont think its a gromment, mayb its was nitrous botton LOL jk, does anyone has this??

There is a button, I have it too.
I thought it was part of my after-market alarm system, actually.
Im surprised to see that someone else has it..???

I've pressed it on more than one occasion.
I havent noticed anything different about the car.

mine was used too, i never saw it till today and thats because i never had to look under there but i turn the car off and pressed results nothing then i turned the car on and still nothing, it has to be a reason

i have stock alarm and i thought it was for resettin the alarm but nothin, before i use to put the alarm on and i heard the horn and a beep sound now i only hear the horn also the alarm light stays on and only turns off when i start the car

Looks to be like the "momentary ON" buttons they install with aftermarket alarms. What it is used for is in the case that you lose your keys or alarm control you can open the door and press the button a pre-specified amount of times to unarm the alarm. The drivers lower kickboard is the most common place these buttons are installed in because it is relatively close in relation to the "Brain" of the alarm. The setting is pre programmed at the time of your alarm installation so if it is dealer installed you should be able to ask them what it is set to. And if i were you id rewire the button to hide it in an inconspicuous place where it is not easily found/reached. Good luck!
