Hey just had a thought. Anyone out there with actual facts or real time exp. tell me the difficulty level in swapping in a TSi engine in my lancer? I am a good mechanic and do lots of import work as well as working as a mechanic fixing eclipses, neons, civics, accords etc. Pretty much anything that has an engine I will work on. Can you guys give me some pros and cons? not just a " Dont do it" or a "Why bother?" I like a challenge thank you.

 

i say go ahead and try it. its never been done. i wouldnt mind dropping a 1g in. im sure it would require alot of money.

You can put anything into anything if you really want to and have the money. I have seen rear drive crx's with chev 350's in them. There are just soo many options for me, and I think I might stick to my original plan which is to just keep it as is and sell it for a down payment on a supra as soon as I move into a bigger space.
