My girlfriend recently bought a Lancer ES 2008 and she loves it... she loves everything except the warning that states that the roads could be slippery when it is 3 or lower outside...it's 3 or lower around here for 3-4 months...

Is there any way to turn off that warning??

Thanks a million!!

Simon

It's a pain at first but you will get used to it. Mine has been going off every time I go anywhere since mid Sept.

We'll I talked to my g/f yesterday night and she said SHE didn't wear it anymore... so I guess there is no problem then... she just starts the car before leaving and the alarm sounds when she is away from the car... lol

No problem with it, just dings once and there you go. Unless the temp keeps fluctuating from 4 to 3 then it could get a bit annoying.

Well I suppose you could always try getting a tech at your dealership to disable it, although thats bit of a long shot.

I hear ya everytime I get in the car I hear it so it don't bother me anymore. Come summer time I'll probably think somethigs wrong with my car when it doesn't go off.
