is 65mm the biggest size you can put on our lancer

You can put a 100 mm TB on if you can get one made. If you're talking about the RRM TB, it's not 65 mm, it's 57 fluted to 65 at a specific point.

Stock is 52 mm I believe. Why are you so set on getting a 65 mm TB? A bigger TB doesn't mean more power if you already exceed the limit of what the engine can bring in. The RRM TB is fine for their 300 hp drag car, I'm sure it'll be enough for your car.

That doesn't mean more power. If you hook a giant 100 mm TB to your car, it'll be impossible to drive since it'll lose the pressure advantage that keeps the air moving into the engine at a high rate of speed. Imagine trying to drink something with a 2" pipe for a straw. Theoretically you could take in more fluid with a giant straw but in practice it's so big you can't create a suitable vacuum.

good point i see what you mean, how about a non turbo dsm 60mm, i think thats the max that i can go
