picking an exhaust..

picking an exhaust..

im in the market for an exhaust.. trying to get rid of the 20 lbs in the back of the car... i know greddy, rrm makes exhausts for our car.. i want something that is MADE for our car.. dont want any custom work.. just plug and play... any suggestions?

I am going with the RRM one as soon as I find $350 laying around. I had the same (Magnaflow) one on my '04 Lancer and I loved the sound, so I am 100% in for the new version for our "08's. Just my opinion though.

yeah..i like the rrm but im afraid of it rusting like a lot of ppl had problems with...

I had mine for 2 years with no problems at all. Granted I live in AZ so rust isn't really a factor. You go from one desert to another so I wouldn't worry about rust.

The Newer Version of the RRM Exhaust is powder coated black on the pipe and muffler so It wont rust thats one of the improvments they made, they all come that way now...

Yeh, the RRM now comes with coated pipes

And the RRM one bolts up and matches everything perfectly? I assume it does but would like to know for sure.

in theory, what ever weight you take from the back, you should do the same for the front.

you know keep that weight ratio in effect lol jokin

yeah im trying to get in shape lol damn gravity!!! damn u!!! yeah he problem is that i dont have a house to install this but i dont wanna go to a shop b/c i'll look like a jack @ss asking them to install some easy *** bolt on.. lol
