i was on a really long straightaway, a deisel excursen decided to test me so i flored it (left it in drive instead of sport shift) barely stayed ahead of him but it was at 120mph and stayed there, the rpms were tacked out. it didnt feel like it had anything left and i wouldnt really want to push the rpms past redline.
p.s. i know street racing is dumb but it was a two lane freeway and was clear the entire stretch with no on ramps. plus i really wanted to see what it would top out at and isnt that what this thread is about.

dear god I hope you could beat a diesel excursion. Doing that in a geo metro isn't too impressive. They are decently quick off of the line with a good amount of torque but they fall FLAT on their face after the first 1/8th mile or so.
i got to 121mph and at 4,900 rpm but had to back off. it can go faster but i dont want a speeding ticket but im going to try to find the top speed this week. o and just to let u know the car will go faster if u redline up till 4th u can get over 105 in 4th but u have to redline each gear well just under redline.
