So yesterday, for some reason or another my key lock and steering wheel were locked. I couldnt start the engine. Well after I turned the steering wheel and the key at the same time, it worked, Duh.

However during this process I was messing with the dash. In doing so, I set my 'periodic inspection' to 13800mi and 13 months, when it was supposed to be "----", because i need it inspected or whatever.

How do i reset the counter to '----'? or is there a way to set the counter to the regular 7500 or 6 month thing?

also what does the 'periodic inspection' include.

You need to take the car into the dealer. They can reset it for you.
