Engine Shampoo

Has anyone washed the engine bay, if so what products did you use and how was it? Also what parts were covered up? Thanks

Make sure the engine is warm and spray it down with your choice of engine degreaser/cleaner. I use Gunk brand orange-scented cleaner.

^^yup. Some people say cover the electrical components and hose it down with water after the degreaser. But I just wipe it down really good and let the engine run for a bit so it smokes out the residue.
