How long...? and how much?...

i'm spray painting parts of my car with engine emanel.. however you spell it, but...
how long do i wait before applying another thin coat?

and how about the clear coating for rims? how long should i wait before applying another coat?

and the same with primers, how long do i wait?

basically, what is the recommended time to wait for each of those spray coats, and how many coats?
rims?
engine?
calipers?

these are all duplicolor spray paint.

use engine enamel for the engine bay only. dont use for anything else other then that. the paint doesnt hold up well with the rain/snow. yeah its designed for heat, but only for that. id recommend buying seperate paint for the rims/calipers. as for the waiting time, id say probly 30 minutes-one hour. depends on how hot/cold it is etc.

well marco, thank you.
would this prevent the engine enamel from being destroyed by the snow if i were to spray like 5 coats of CLEAR COATING OF DUPLICOLOAR WHEELS over the enamel for my rims? wouldn't that protect the enamel?

i used mettalic rust paint on the engine covers ect. It doesnt get hot enough to have to use engine enamel. Only thing you should use engine enamel would be on brake calipers(but they sell special paint for that) and the engine block/head.
