Grab a 10mm wrench/socket.
Remove only one plug wire/coilpack @ a time.
Pull on the boot and not the wire.
I use what I believe to be a 9" extension on my 3/8ths" socket wrench.
Use an import spark plug removal socket.
Replace plugs with an NGK brand plug (I forget the model #, but you can get them @ NAPA).
Check the gap before installation (0.044).
Remember, these plugs use crush washers and to only stop torquing on the plug until it becomes tough to turn (unless you're using a torque wrench, this is something you'll learn over time).
Replace the wire/coilpack.
Enjoy!

what kind of spark plugs are the best?

some plugs with a bit of performance and durability?

There's some talking about gaps. Are most of them pre-measured? or do I have to measure it and use the right one? If this issue is not that important, I'll just go head and change it.

We all say that the "basic" NGK V-power plugs are about your best bet on for a stock lancer...or even one with basic mods.

Yes, gap is important! But most come pre-gapped...but when you buy the plugs get a gap measurement tool too! They're like a $1.

^Yes, those are the coilpacks! You just pull those off after removing the 10mm bolts. There are simple clips attached as well and just match them back up after removal.

hmm.. I tried to take off the rubber thing that covers the plug.

It won't come out. the 2 plugs with coilpacks come off easily but the other 2 without coilpack... do not come off. Do i just pull it hard grabbing the bottom rubber part?

The car was shaking but still not coming off...

Yep, pull on the lowest part of the rubber boot and if they've not been removed for a while they'll be on there good. YOU CAN DO IT!
