I was just wondering if we could start a list of universal parts for the Evo x and Lancer, whether it be the GTS-DE. I was really wanting to know about the hood. Thanks!

 

ya that's a great idea

 

the hood should be a direct fit.
i doubt the widebody has any effect on the hood…
but, if you want a guaranteed fit, you could always put on the RalliArt hood…it’s basically the exact same style as the EvoX…if not the exact same.
other parts that will fit = rear wing and…well, i’m not sure what else

edit: projector headlights will also fit

 

hmm i wonder what modification you need to do for the projectors...

 

^^There is no Ralliart hood, it's the same aluminiumhood that you find in the Evo. I bet it costs a ****load of money, better buying an aftermarket CF hood.

 

The interior may be transferable like previous Evos w/previous lancers... not positive though. But of course little things like shift knobs & e-brakes would work. Also probably the HID lights.

 

apparently it’s a direct fit…you just need to work out the wiring
you don’t even need to replace the lenses, only the back/inner pieces need to be swapped out.

imo, as nice as it would be to get oem parts…its just don’t worth it
if i’m not mistaken, someone was quoted $8,000 for the X recaro seats…EACH!

i really hope someone makes aftermarket headlights for us, i really really love the evo headlights but dont feel like paying 800-1500 a piece for them!

 

I know all of the interior pieces (except the steering wheel (NOT FOR SURE)) are exactly the same. I just got in one yesterday and they are exactly the same. THEY DOn"T HAVE A BOOST GAGE!!! lol I WAS LIKE WTF! anyways. so hood is a for sure fit?

 

if ams said that the CF EvoX roof will fit the base lancer, then yea the hood should be no different...
ask your dealer just to be 100%

 

I'm 100% positive our roof will fit the lancer. I've already confirmed the sunroof equipped roofs are the same part number between the base lancer and Evo X.

Yes it does. I looked up the prices of the GTS and Evo wing. The GTS wing lists for something like $350 (probably because its far more common) and the Evo wing retails for around $1700!
