it should be a pretty straight forward install.......just make sure you have spring compressors but all you need to do is jack up the car, take off all the wheels, use spring compressors to compress springs, unbolt shock/strut remove it, put new springs on, and put everytyhing back together, obviously this is just a very brief explanation lol

Your car pushes down on the springs and does not compress them all the way down even while driving on bumpy road. Think of the pressure that it will take to hold them down evenly while you disassemble the strut. With spring compressors be very careful when you do this as if you mount them wrong or compress them unevenly the spring can launch off with alot of force. And you will want a impact gun to for the spring compressor.
It is real easy to do if you take your time and get (rent) the right tools. Without the right tools it will be a real PITA.
Good luck.

ashun - you may want to look into having a friend or mechanic do this job. Without knowledge, you could easily hurt yourself.

You can't use your own strength - these springs hold up a 3100 car. At the very least, you're going to need an impact gun and to buy/rent a set of spring compressors. And you REALLY want a 2nd person, because this is a horrible job to do alone.

FWIW, I'm going to have a full install how-to article with pictures soon, but I need the foot of snow to melt so I can access my driveway...

anyway, like Black said, you should just have a Pro have it done.
