If its not a deep scratch I would try taking it to an auto shop and getting them to buff it out. Should not have needed a screwdriver to get those badges off anyway. I mean you live in warm sunny Florida. Should've gone out into the hot sun, and pried them off with some floss or fishing wire.

You scratched your car with a screwdriver and want to know if Mits will fix it under your warranty? Uh... I doubt it, its like asking if they would fix a rim if you curb it.

screw driver + paint never a good idea....

since you have learned that lesson the hard way.. just go to the dealer get some touch up paint and take care of it

Go to the dealership and get some touch up paint. Hot soapy water over the badge then run some floss or fishing line under it to peel the glue. Rub out the left over glue with a towel and some 409 or goo be gone. Then clean the area and apply the touch up paint and use an electric buffer to buff it out.

Dont mean to hijack this thread but im wondering if the diamond symbol on the rear is glued on or screwed on. Ive debadged the mitsu and lancer words. Im planning on painting the symbol, but dont wanna paint it on the car.

lets put it this way, a couple members from TLC (including myself) already have rust spots on our cars in a number of places. we went to mitsu to ask for warranty, if mitsu finds excuse to get themselves out of THEIR trouble, what makes you think they will help you fix your OWN mistakes. not trying to be harsh but that is reality. mitsubish1t !!!!!
