Well the painting the black looks good for every color on the lancers except for black..so heres my problem the front of my bumper the lancer has a little chrome around the mitsu sign and the rest is black



now what i want to do is paint it the silverish color like it is on the black MRs like this

that would mean i also would have to paint my chrome trim.

any suggestions on how i would go about accomplishing this?

 

Sand and spray with flat black.

 

if u want it like that...i'd say take off the chrome ggrill.. sand and paint the top n sides silver..and the bottom blackk and thenn go n paint the rest of the silver lining on bumper?? i dunnoo

Agreed on the matte black on black combo........Painted mine the day I picked it up. Had my bro paint it gunmetal met. MUCH BETTER!

 

My dealer traded my chrome grill for a black one of b base model.

 

Can try using carbon fiber looking vinyl before sand/paint if you wanna see how the color contrast would look.
