OEM Evo X wheels on base Lancer?

does anyone know if the oem X rims will fit on the base models lancers?
i’m just wondering if there would be any issues with fitment…too wide? offset?...ect.
any information would be a great help.

thanks in advance

check the info in the EVO X forums. I am sure you can find that information in there. Then, if it doesnt match up then it wont work.

They should fit fine. My understanding is that the lug pattern and offset are the same. As long as you're not running a crazy-wide tire, you should have no fitment issues at all.

Good luck paying for those *****, though.

hahaha
i know the bolt pattern is the same, but i think the offset is different by like 10mm or something…not exactly sure.
and if i get them, they will probably ‘used’…so it would be the stock X tires on them
and yea they are pricey, so hopefully i can find a seller who isn’t over asking like the gts guys all are. lol

dude, i saw one sold for $850+Shipping (All rims + tires)... i believe those tires cost at least $300+ each so it was a steal... if i bought those, ill sell it back on ebay and yield more cash hehehe

typo fixed*

I put my lancer wheels on e-bay, I don't over ask for them at all. The need of these wheels is what drives the price up. Supply and demand. But I would save money and just buy aftermarket rather than dropping a whole wackload of cash on EVO X stockers.

GUYS, EVO X TIRES ARE NOT 245/45/18, THEY ARE 245/40/18. I'd be hardpressed to believe they rub on a base model lancer. Yea there is an 8mm difference in offset but the lower sidewall should counteract that.

overall diameter of 245/45/18 is 26.68" (this will not fit due to the larger difference)
overall diameter of 245/40/18 is 25.71" (this is stock evo)
overall diameter of 215/45/18 is 25.61" (this is stock lancer)

The X are 8.5" and the Lancer is 7". Mitsu gave the Lancer no love when it came to rims and tires. Should of put 235/40/18 on it.

uhhhhh... that's because the Lancer is considered an "economy sedan" .... and skinny tires = better gas mileage...
