GTS Tweeter question

So I bought some Pioneer tweeters for my GTS. I have read here that this upgrade is quite simple and adds some flavor to the sound since the stock ones are not that great. I agreee the pioneer ones look sexy as hell opoosed to the original.

Now Question.. There are two cables one light yellow and on like a light green color which is positive which is negative?

Is interested ill post if i heard any valuable difference.

Sorry if this has already been discussed. I kinda looked to see if there was something but not that detailed.

Well I found the answer myself in the EVO X section. Believe it or not they have good threads that may be handy to us since most all is the same....

Yellow is Positive and Green Negative... This applies to all door speakers also..

Well, I had to cut the original connection from the tweeters. Although I only did one. It's kinda frustrating. I thought it was going to make a big difference but I cant really appreciate it. I mean in my head in like ok the left side does sound better than the right. But dont know if its me and my (want to make it better perception) or if its real

I am not very familiar on how a tweters is supposed to sound and what do better ones do than cheap ones. So if the ones I bought are supposed to be better what am I supposed to hear better? if anyone can assist me and explain.

I guess if I did one I minus well do the other see if it is better overall. Kinda hard jumping from one seat to another or runnung around the car and try to hear a difference.

Good tweeters are gonna get your high pitched sounds out cleaner. So like a high hat or like a really high octave guitar solo should come out crystal clear. Of course, this also depends on the bit rate of your track. If the file is bad quality, no speaker is gonna make it sound good.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Kalpakiotis....Well I have put the new tweeters in The are Pioneer Ts 110 and...

I change my verdict....Tweeter change definetly a PLUS......like kalpakiotis said the high pitched sound is much better and alot clearer...also for instances claps or clapping sound...that crashing sound that tweeters originaly make is much more defined and clearer...Voice also.....Something I recommend if you guys want to do...

I also found that (well most people who have installed speakers would know but I did not) that a good connection makes a nice difference. I first connected them with some plugs that had to be taped around...but then I went to a Audio place and bought some awesome connectors that plug into each other with no tape needed becasue they have a plastic that covers then once they are together...

So in conclusion TWEETER UPGRADE NICE UPGRADE....
