How do i pick throw out bearings to buy? they are the same as release bearings right? I found some that say oe and some that say nsk. I know what oem is but what are these two?? and does anyone know where to find them cheaper? or locally? all my local parts shop i know of dont have this part for this car but they do have it for all the other mitsus..

 

when looking for a throwout bearing it usually means get the dealer part, or you will have to buy a clutch kit from the autostore. clutch kit consists of disk , throwout bearing , and pressure plate. those are probably your options... do yourself a favor dont take the tranny off and just replace the throw out bearing.... you should consider doing a clutch slave at the same time.

 

i got a friend's dad doing the install. im replacing my clutch and bought an ACT clutch kit that didnt come with a bearing.. I just ordered taht NSK bearing but iono if its right :O

 

You gotta check by your VIN number. There is a certain year that has a throw out bearing with slave cylinder. PM me with your VIN and I'll check for you...
