Difference between ES and ES Sport

I know the body is different and some interior, but what about body parts under the hood or I guess of better terms what parts that cant be seen.

does the es sport have a larger sway bar like the gts? does it have a front sway bar?

also, is the es sport better or worse than the es in a race? i would say the es is better because itll weigh less but you have the air dams and spoiler for better aerodynamics....

reason why i ask this is my girlfriend wants to get a es sport and she said my es is sh*t compared to it. I wanted some opinions.

The only differences are cosmetic, nothing engine wise is different. As the title states, it's just a sportier look over th ES.

ES Sport:

Fog lights
Aero Package
Rear Spoiler
Exhaust Tip
Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel w/ Silver Accents
Sun and Sound Package (Optional)

The ES sport seems pointless, people wanting the fogs, spoliers, and all that other crap should just step up to the GTS, because you get the bigger engine, shiftable CVT if you want the CVT, the handling upgrades, auto climate, etc. for another grand or so.

No, because not everyone wants the bigger engine (like me).

Why not?
The fuel economy difference is negligible, and the 2.4 is smoother from what I felt in my test drive.

That may be the case, but I feel better at night with a smaller engine knowing there isn't a chance of slightly worse mileage. I'm not worried about the extra 12 or so hp, as we did want the smallest engine in our Lancer. Might not be the best for you, but it was a better decision for our needs.
