is there a fuse in the car that is open and i can pull power from that cuts on with my lights b/c i want to install led lights in the car

Dimmer switch, or dimmer wires from car or trucks stock audio wiring harness. Usually the unused orange wire. It can be tapped into. unit should work. My friends audio system was hooked up that way until he got a real switch. Haha.

 

i set up LED UV lights in my car and used the 12v red wire under the consel with the E-brake (i believe its your hot wire to the cig. lighter). hooked everything up to a switch and works great.

 

Pictures? I ordered one of these but haven't hooked up the lights yet. I plan on adding a 3 led strip underneath each foot-well for ambient lighting when the doors are open just like the dome lights.
