Fog Lights..

Fog Lights..

i am looking for the oem foglights to install to my ES and i found these (http://autocityimports.com/2008-mits...iv-p-8283.html) i believe theyre not the factory ones made by because its cheap and the switch is different. anyone have these? how easy is the install on the factory ones? or these?

they are fairly easy install, it took me to about 30 min to install, but the only problem i have is i don't know where to install the wire for the switch..[B]ut other than that its a fairly easy install.

P.s doesn't come with instructions either

ebay has OEM foglights. I'd rather go that route since you risk forgetting to turn them off when you leave the car and having a dead battery. i did that with my last car and aftermarket foglights (pilot) and i ended up getting OEM anyway. I just got sick of it after the third time.

That is why you do not run the power wire straight to the battery. Run the power wire to an ignition source, so the foglamps can only come on when the ignition is on. This way if you forget to turn them off you will not have to worry about a dead battery.

They had a switch for them. I just always forgot to turn it off. this was also about 10 years ago when i really didn't know anything about cars.
