anyone without tint problem

i went to a local tint shop and asked about tint scratching, he said he only uses high quality tint and it wont scratch. Im guessing all tint dealers say the same thing.
Has anyone with 08 lancer not have tint scratching issues without using the felt mod?

they could get their tint from rat-mart i mean wal-mart (lol for the union people) and say its high quality. Acura, 08-09 Lancers and others have that rubber weather strip. moleskin is a must unless u plan on never roll down ur windows

I've got scratches in the tint on my 02. Dunno what's causing it but I'd say go with the felt, can't hurt anything. It'll save a lot of money over replacing your tint or driving around with scratches like me

The moleskin is only 29.95. You can either go back to that guy and tell him you want it installed just to be safe, or find another place that will install it for you.

You have to make sure you put the moleskin on both of the weather strips like the picture below. The only way it could still scratch after you put the felt on is if there was a BIG rock stuck in there or the still have hard plastic weather strip exposed.

99.9% of lancer owners have had no problems with scratches after they install the felt, myself included.
