Rrm Sri 2009 2.4l

Is there a How to anywhere for the new SRI for the 2.4L. It's completely different from the earlier version as far as install goes. I'm trying to figure out where the support beam bolts down to. We cannot figure it out and do not want to take the stock intake off before we figure it out.

Please help!

i think if you go by how the picture looks and try get it as close as possible you should be able to get it done. Sorry if my friend decides to order a intake i'll install it for him and i'll make a how-to. Until than i've never touched a new lancer. Except for test driving one and testing out the rockford Fosgate system it comes with

Yeah I need a shot of that picture from a left angle so I can see where the support bar that's welded underneath the pipe that comes out the left side mounts to.

it attaches on the bolt that holds the engine cover on. you have to bend it a lot. its right near the fule injector lines.

THe is a bolt on edge of valve cover I think. IF you are still stuck, call today and we will help you .I thought we had instructions for it so maybe we can email it to you and talk you through on the phone. We are at the shop 10-2 PAC time today.

I've been told that that could eventually lead to problems with the engine leaking and such. A single support doesn't look like it will hold the SRI still, it weights a decent amount even without the filter on it. Those bolts on the valve cover have to be torqued down to a certain amount also.

Just torque it lightly. Call in and we will look up the torque. MEantime I am not sure if it is that bolt or another so don't quote me yet. Call in and talk to Brian. I am at home when I post so I do not have that info here. WHerever it bolts we have sold 100+ and never had a problem reported on this.

Thanks. Virtually no one has had complications. In fact I know of no one.
