so the theme of my car is like pink w/ my ww!
and my first few mods are going to be a cold air intake, tints, and get my car dropped on coilovers! hahaha

but anyway... i was wondering if anyone knew if there were any places where i could get pink intake filter... i mean coilovers i could just paint pink right?

I've seen a lot of air filters in my life....but never pink. And I see you're from New Jersey, so if you did get a pink one, it would be sludge brown colored after a few days of breathing Jersey air

 

yea u could paint the coilovers though idk y u would considering no1 will see them under the wheelwell but ur gonna have to use some durable paint but gl with it!

 

paint ur callipers and drums pink too lol

 

Actually....the hks racing suction filters offer a replacement that is "RED" but looks damn like pink. Do a google search for racing suction replacement filters...g/l

The K&N one is kind of "pink" but mostly red. You won't be able to see it anyway once it's in the air box.

You should paint your engine components pink like your fuse box cover and your manifold cover. Your calipers and drums like suggested above could be painted too. I wouldn't go too much though cuz then it'll look too over-the-top borderline ridiculous looking.

 

^yeah i agree with what he said. and i also see that you're from jersey. where abouts? along with what mentioned above, id go along and do a custom engine cover and spark plug cover, or the valve covers whenever you have the time. should come out good

 

nooooooo not pink jk paint your wheels pink but maybe you could just get the intake pipe pink at some shop...youre a cutie

 

cool idea , the whole pink and white thing. but if u really wanna go pink, y are u painting, and doing things to ur car that are "pink", but u cant even see them! =P

paint the calipers, the Mitsubishi sign on the front, nd or back of the car, paint the mid-front bumper black and chrome outline above that(ur choice) then if u have the patience do a pink outline on the bumper, like others do chrome. that might be bad *** looking. for a pink/white theme. theres other things like, rims, side mirrors, spoiler. the whole shabang. o yea engine accents, including the sway bar, since u have a gts.

any opinions on my opinions?

 

lol! first thing im painting pink is going to be the wheel center caps
(as soon as i figure out how to POP them out)
next i plan on painting the from and back mitsu sign pink
i want to vinyl the front but i dont know if it will look nice
plus i dont think i would know how to do it even with the DIY
then ill start with the intake/calipers (if anyone could guide me through on how to paint calipers that would be great!)

any paint suggestions?

 

the filter of the cold air intake is located behind the bumper so it won't be visible; unless you mean a short ram intake.

 

the vinyl actually comes out better then painting. if u need, i can get you precut ones and install them in like 5 minutes lol same thng goes for the center caps. let me know if youre interested
