ecu removal

ecu removal
I have been looking for theads relating to ecu removal on 2008 lancer .Could only find info on evo ecu which is located in the clove box.
On the 2008 Lancer it is located under the hood .Which I found .I was able to remvoe the 4 bolts that secure the braket to the car.But i was unable to remove the black colored shield that covers 1 of the 2 pluges the that connect to the ecu.
So my question is how do you remove the black colored shield ? The bolts have a rounded top to them which makes it impossible from what I can see to remove them with out drilling them out.Or am I missing somthing? It can't be that hard,can it.
