2008 Lancer warrenty?

I recieved an automated call from Mitsubishi Canada stating my warrenty is up and that that call was my final notice for renewal and after this my folder would be closed? I never even recieved a first noticed?

I thought Mitsubishi came with the 5-5-10 warrenty? Am I missing something over here?

thanks

Might be a scam. I've been receiving calls from 1-800 numbers stating that my factory warranty is up and I went ahead and google'd the number to see who it came from and I found a lot of people saying that it was a scam. Call the dealership if you want to be extra sure on it.

You could be right...because my car was last serviced at a dealership with the odometer reading 61000kms, so I don't see how my warrenty is over. In fact head office doesn't even have my cell number.

more than likely a scam, it was in the news earlier this year. I also receieved mail and phone calls saying my warranty was up after only a few months of buying the car.

I think nearly everybody who finances a new car somehow gets "warranty" notices of these scams... Not much more different than the TV I bought at circuit city last year... got a card in the mail asking to extend my warranty on it last month through circuit city. Guess what? Circuit City is going out of business Sounds like a scam to me... hah

Yeah it's a scam. I get one of those calls every week. But was Mitsubishi Canada mentioned in the voicemail?

Mitsu has new protocols. Eliminate the warranty before the customer gets the chance to void it. Its like depreciation, you lose the warranty the minute its off the lot.
