Hey all, I was wonder how to change the lights for the Odometer and my cruise control, they both have gone out and though its not a "real" big deal, I would like to change them out. I just wanted to ask here first before I go tearing into my dash. Anything I should be aware of or watch out for while working on behind the dash?

I would check all my fuses, both under the dash and under the hood before I done anything. Also, make sure you didn't just turn your dimmer down.

 

I did check all of that Jaun.... Anyways, I got the lights out. No, How do I change the Cruise control light? it seems to be stuck in its little socket? I got the socket out of the dash panel just cant get the little light out of the socket.

Now that I understand what your doing. They should just twist out. I took out some of mine on time, mainly the check engine light.

 

Yep I got it to twist out, and now, that I have the little guy twisted out, how do I get the bulb out? or do I replace the hole twisty deal?

 

It looks like the whole little light/socket needs to be replaced because the little wires wrap around the little socket deal... what size are these bulbs?

 

I don't know where to get new ones, I'm sure if you go to a parts dealer, they are pretty cheap, I would say no more than a few bucks each. I think you get the whole thing, not just the bulb. I've replaced the bulb with an led before with a resistor on my eclipse. You should be able to go anywhere to get them. I should have a space cluster at home that has the bulbs in it if your interested.
