fog lights on all the time

i want to have my fog lights on all the time... i have HIDs installed 8000k head lights with a adaptor that prevents the flickering issue, and 3000k fogs.

obviousily i could just turn my head lights and fogs during the day but then my navi would goto night mode and all the controls would lights up and cant really see them during the day.

is there a way i could have the fogs turn on either with the DRL's or turn on with the parking lights WITHOUT cutting any wires...??

switch the fog and low beam harness. Since you have the anti flicker harness, what will happen is that the drl will come on once you start moving. This will go thru the anti flicker harness and always keep your fogs on. The only issue with this is that if you want ur head lights on u have to switch the fogs on. turning highs on will also result in your lows turning off.

you can always make a pig tail to go from your headlight harness to both ur fogs and your lows. As long as the ballasts for your hids are supplied directly from the battery and NOT from the stock wiring harness you shouldnt have any problems. You can get the connectors and wire at any auto store.

both the headlights and fogs ballasts are connected to the factory harness not to the battery.... so i guess "pig tail" wont work...

is there another option out there...???

idk if there is any other way without cutting any wires. If you could figure out the light switch ECU, you could just have it turn on everytime u turn the car on lol.

i figured out how to do this on the 2008's. not sure if it will work on the 09's but more than likely it will. it was for an X but i think the harness is the same (at least where i tapped into it). i found the ground slide of the harness and tapped into it before it went into the fuse box and created another ground that bypasses the factory switch so you can turn them on and off when ever you want. see below, i believe it is post 13 with the directions and there is some clarification in later posts. good luck.

Do you have any issues with the fog light flickering. I have a 2011 Lancer ES, and i just installed fog lights today. Im looking to get and hid kit for it, but im wondering if i need an anti-flickering hid kit

When you guys are talking about "anti-flickering" is this a problem specific to these cars, or does it only happen you you use the factory connections instead of running a relay system from the battery?
