look in your owners manual for details.
1. open the hood.
2. remove stock bulbs
3. put new ones

Don't forget to check the blinker fluid levels while you're in there!

lol ok well i started out not knowing a clue how to do it but its probably the simplest mod you can ever do for your car. Go pick up a pair of bulbs for about 30 dollars. Then read the owners manuel on replacing the bulbs.

Please tell me you're kidding like some of the rest of us. Short of filling the gas tank or checking the oil, there is nothing simpler to do.

Also, if I were paying $30 locally for bulbs I would splurge a bit and get some cheap HIDs on ebay. Those are also a very simple installation and while not always of the utmost quality at the cheap prices, I have personally never had a problem.

Splurge another $20 and get the Sylvania Ultra Brights. You will be much happier!

Pepboys bulbs suck, youll be lucky to get 3 months out of them. In the day I used to replace so many of them till hids became cheap.

u might wanna be sure hey are the same wattage..i got some off ebay that were higher than stock and wel...it melted the cones inside my headlights...as far as HID's ive seen some kits that run 150-200$...and the superstition i have is nething less than 100$ for hids is garbage...am i wrong

sylvania ultras are alright but the color isnt much of an improvement over stock..i was disappointed. but u can definely see more..how much? jus a noticeabled ifference, nothing amazing..when i bought mine it was 50$ sticker price but i got a mail in rebate for 15$

I'm sure Curt will have my head for this one but I have run HIDs on all my non-stock HID vehicles for the last 5 years, and have always gone for some of the lower prices. So far I haven't had any issues but this is obviously a YMMV moment.

BTW - HIDS are usually 35w, unless you pay more for higher wattage versions, which get bright as hell!

*edit - basically the way I think of the HID issue is if the vehicle didn't come stock with HIDs then the application is probably not meant for them (meaning a projector or a really well focused refraction lens). At that point I don't drop hundreds of dollars on something that wasn't meant to be in the first place.

Yes, the quality could probably be better, there might be risk (very little if you know what you're doing), but in my case I have been extremely happy, everyone that sees them likes them (save for the ol' farts that don't like them bright lights) and I haven't run into any issues. Again, YMMV.

Basically my thoughts are for not much more money I would rather get true HIDs, and not simulated (said: blue tinted bulbs). For best results, I try to get Japanese or German, and a US seller. Best of luck!
