Wow. Good thing your dad didn't spring for the evo... you would have beat it to hell. I agree, this thread is hillarious. Oh and by the way... you can do equally as much damage trying to burnout in these cars as you would from neutral dropping. They are both dumb... that's why I referred one to the other. Please be sure to post pics when you blow up the car or total it.

Trying to do a burnout in it.
Doing a burnout is hard on any car, especially so if the car doesn't want to do one. If you have 500 HP Corvette, a burnout is pretty easy but when you have to pull the ebrake, put oil on your tires, to do one, it's a sign you shouldn't.

Do you pay "it's" insurance? If so, will you continue to pay "it's" insurance, or if not will dad continue to once the rates are 500 a month because you hit 3 parked cars trying to do donuts in the parking lot with a FWD vehicle? Because that's where it sounds like you are headed next.

Buy an old POS for $500 and beat on that. I see plenty of E30s and Miatas for that price, RWD and stick (and cars are usually more expensive in CA). Anything that breaks can be had for cheap at the local junk yard. Put some junk all seasons on the rear so they have no grip. Wear a helmet and do it somewhere where the only one (or car) you will hurt is yourself. Practice, practice, practice.

In college my friend had an ancient beater Dodge Colt (fwd and no hp) and we did just about everything stupid you could do with that car, including duct taping ourselves to the seats and wearing helmets and rolling it on purpose. We also found a bunch of old appliances somebody tossed in a canal, fished them out, and set them up as pins for car bowling. If you want to be retarded, you can do it with anything if you are creative.

Just try not to hurt anyone but yourself

1. Wait 8 months.
2. Drive to Canada.
3. Enjoy all the "burnouts" you could ever hope for.

This thread is just plain silly (choosing a nice word there.) Everything that needs to be said has been said, closing this.
