Low miles, but heavily modified. That 6 speed and transfer case are going to be on their way out if that thing was abused or the fluids weren't changed regularly, so be prepared to replace those if you buy this car. At the horsepower and torque this motor should be producing they are vulnerable, especially if it was launched or used in any sort of track time without being babied.

That being said, I think the parts are tasteful. Any numbers or times on it? Clean carfax? That is a hefty bill for a IX, the only thing saving that is the low miles, but still, he has way more money than the price tag shows in that engine bay. You would be able to find an IX on here with those miles for cheaper, but you would spend more than the difference getting the performance up to that level (provided whoever worked on it is competent). Any shop on here work on this car?

Edit: You also posted in the wrong section, might want to get a mod to move this to Evo General or a similar category.

Depends what is wrong with the transmission. A new transfer case can be around 2000, and a transmission rebuild will be around 900 for a rebuild. Use sheptrans.com for a guideline (btw they are the best when it comes to rebuilding these two things).

That warranty won't hold man... I wouldn't trust it at all. All they have to say is your car is modified and they don't have to honor it.

Hey that is Pirana's car. He just sold it this weekend. If he is still a member here you can probably get more info on it. Also I am pretty sure that Kevind at Evolution Dynamics did most of the work, I would hit him up too.

Kevin is most definately. Pirana I am not sure since he sold the evo but it wouldnt hurt to try. Kevin can most likely be reached at his shop. He is a good enough guy he will probably give you the run down on the car.

I really like that evo, thing is i am a "build it from stock guy". Personally i like to get a stock car and build it myself, makes you feel like you did work. Other than that, yeah its a pretty proper whip.
