Disabling/Bypassing DRLs
I bought DDM HIDs for my 2006 Lancer ES; 9007, 6k, 35watts. I installed them and they work perfectly when they're on. Although, when they are off and running DRLs, they begin to flicker. I was wondering if there was a way I can disable the DRL function or bypass it somehow. I removed them and installed the OEM lights for now. If anyone can help, it will be greatly appreciated!
I think I figured something out. By wiring a relay harness with my HID kit, I believe it should stop the flickering while running DRLs.

Success! Relay harness alone couldn't stop the lights flickering so I bought a 470 35 capacitor from Radio Shack. That solved my problem of the flickering lights when my HIDs run as DRLs! Woot.

So by adding the hid harness it stopped the flickering? But are your DRLs still on?
