i have a aem cai for my 03 oz and its atx... their is room for it if you get a low-pro rad fan, that should give the clearence needed to run the lower section of pipe... i never got around to getting the slim rad fan.. i just have the upper portion of the aem cai cause thats where the carb sticker is... i know the lower section of the aem cai is to big[ 3in] to pass underneath even with a allmun lower hose, that gave me some room but not enough to pass it through..
you can get a reducer to go from the 3" to like 2.5 with may give you the clearence needed... also for god sakes of u do get a cai, by the aem by-pass valve just incase u drive thro a puddle of water... even if ur not in an area thats prone to it, it can and does happen
