Should I buy?

I was searching around yesterday after discovering the beauty of my friend's Lancer and I came upon a 2002 Lancer oz rally.

After talking to the owner, he said he bought it two years ago, replaced the engine because it was "acting up" and put one in with 9,000 miles on it. That one starting acting up as well and the mechanics found out that the computer was to blame the whole time.

2 months ago he replaced the slave master cylinder and the clutch because the tranny was leaking a bit. Now everything seems to be in order. He has all the records for these fixes as well.

The question is, does this sound like a good car for $4,250? Is there anything in this description that would suggest this Lancer is a lemon? Again, the engine has about 9k on it, 114,000 on the body and tranny. Thanks so much for your help!

Pics or it didn't happen. But in all seriousness:
- check the suspension visually if you can
- check exhaust (if it is stock is it still in good shape? it might need to be replaced soon)
- check everything. I took the assumption everything was in order and it turns out don't have a windshield washer fluid reservoir.

Do you have any proof/paperwork showing the engine replacement and mileage?
If you can't get anything to verify the mileage on the motor, I'd pay no more than what I'd pay if the engine were original with 114k miles.
