First off, because I live in Indiana and it decides to snow whenever it feels like it, I am definitely wanting to install a remote start for my 03 Lancer ES. Would it be possible to do it at home or have some business do it? I have one from my ZX2 that I was going to put in, but never got around to it, so I'm wondering if it'll work for the Lancer. Also, would it be possible to use a remote that operates the remote start and the remote entry if I am able to program it?
Secondly, my car is sitting at 109,000 miles. Would it be recommended to change the tranny fluid? My car jerks when you go to push on the gas the same time the car tries to autoshift, so I need to know if that is normal?
Lastly, I need ideas for good brakes and rotors. Mine are warped and since I'm paying for this car for the next three years, I'd like to put pretty good brakes on it but not overpriced.

You could have a shop look at it.
I would replace/flush your trans fluid and replace filter.
I'd use SeaFoam trans flush.
Use good fluid for new.
I run Hawk HPS pads, they stop really good and dust isn't too bad.
They are like $80 though for a pair.
EBC slotted/dimpled rotors also, they are nice.
Like $150 on ebay.
I would also consider changing power steering fluid, flushing coolant and changing it.
Checking your bushings on your sway bars and replacing as needed.
And SeaFoaming your car, gas, oil and vacuum.
If you take care of her she should last you a while.
