Lately i have been looking [extremely hard] for tail lights for my baby...
I drive a 2005 Lancer ES and im looking for tail lights in the style of the evo 8

I have found a set that i am extremely happy with however they say they are only suited for 2002-2004 models here is a link to said lights

i want to know, if A. these will fit my car
OR
B. there are a set similar or just like these that i could buy for my car. there are so many sets out there and none of them are very good.

I don't think those will fit the 04 lancer since 02-03 style share the same body parts and 2004-2006 are compatible. Can you someone verify if the taillights are the same for the 02-06 lancer.

Anyway you can try RRM they sell some and ebay which will sell the Depo ones. There's not much out there.

I see what your getting at, but someone would have to verify it because from my understanding the 02-03 share body parts and the 04-06s share their parts. If you try it out let us know.

 

02-03 lights won't fit the 04-06 lancers nor the other way around ...

Okay guys, thankyou so much for your help, ive been incontact with my local Autobarn aswell... they have found me a set similar to these that will fit, with propper E-mark and what not so they wont get defected.

Hey Ghost any pics of the install? I'd like to swap my tails on my OZ, they are to 'Canadian Tire' for my taste (er... walmart brand as a comparison? lol idk). But your right finding anything half decent is pretty tough.

 

Nah dude no pics, im still looking for some decent ones, the ones i wanted dont fit. Seriously upset about that but yeah, still looking i will definately upload some stuff when ive found the perfect pair

 

I just put the euro style ones on my car yesterday. They look pretty good actually on my white car. They are the same ones that RRM sell. I'll post a pic later on.
