Lowering my OZ

So want to lower my oz rally but I'm riding on the oz rally rims. I haven't seen to many lowered lancers on the 15's so i want to know if i do lower it on the 15's would it cause any problems to the ride. Also I don't have the money to get coilovers so lowering springs are what i'm getting just a fyi thing

lowering your ride period will stress your stock shocks & struts of course it all depends how much of a drop you go with and so forth, of course best way to go would be coils but like you i didnt have the funds for that. I went with H&R springs 1.4 drop in front maybe 1.5 when settled and 1.3 drop in rear maybe 1.4 when settled which i purchased from the tire rack, i bought stagg shocks and struts which are good to me and im sitting on enkei 16's of course you need camber kit unless your cool with having negative or positive camber eating away your tires lol

the fact that you are on the oem 15's really doesnt mean anything to a drop it all matters to your shocks and struts...there is a really good thread about this up somewhere that helped me out a lot ill find it and post it up.

160 for shocks and struts + 260 for springs + 20 for camber kit(bought used)...so you figure i spent 450 and did the work myself i like my ride a lot more now...with coils you'll get much more aggressive look and you can change it as much as you want with the season but i didn't want to drop 1000+ on coils and eBay coils are a joke...NP bro always like helping others

I would love to do the work myself but with some thing like that I rather have my mechanic do it so pretty much the whole new setup is about half of what the coil overs would be. I probably have to wait a little while in that case bc I still need a new clutch and considering the clutch and parts plus labor is 700 might be better to do that now thanks again though

a shop is going to charge you 250-300 to do it for you, and jea clutch should be taken care of first make sure shes healthy first then worry about aesthetics
