Hey guys,

I am looking for a muffler for my 2004 Lancer ES, a very basic model.

I have no idea about cars, let alone mufflers and hopefully you guys can guide me to a right direction.

I will try to stay away from ordering online because I hate the wait, but I will if I really have to.

Im looking for a sporty quiet to mild sounding muffler. (Perhaps from Magnaflow?)
Looking for a clean look, nothing that looks like the end of a rocket but nothing that looks like a cigarette pipe.

Please suggest some mufflers that will look great for my basic lancer

I live in Edmonton, AB, CA if that matters. Please, help is really appreciated. My current muffler/tip irritates me. Looks ridiculous (I think). I'll upload a picture shortly.

I will almost assure you that the tip on your muffler is why it sounds so bad. Its like adding a megaphone to a potentially crappy muffler. I have a oval magnaflow thats the same ID and OD as my pipes which help avoid more of the megaphone effect. I see the welds on yours and its far too large for your pipes. I fully customized my entire exhaust system for flow and it does exceptionally well. Either way Id go with a magnaflow or cherry bomb as they dont sound too ricey.
