Overheating Problem on 02 Lancer OZ!!
Hello guys, I'm not a mechanic on any means of the word, although I do make minor repairs on my vehicle.
I've had a constant problem on my car that it overheats way too often. I find myself pouring coolant in the radiator about 1-3 times a month, which is not right.
Because I find myself adding coolant constantly, I thought it may have a leak somewhere. So I decided to buy new hoses, clamps, a radiator and a cap. I replaced everything and it worked fine for about 2 weeks and then it started heating up again. I checked for leaked and didn't find any. I noticed yhat my condenser fan was acting up so I decided to change that and the radiator fan as well while I was at it. And still the same heating problem. Then I heard about the coolant temperature sensor that might have been faulty, so I replaced it and in a week or so, my cat started heating up again.I then read that my head gasket could be blown and letting the coolant leak, so I replaced the gasket and even the spark plug gasket, changed the plugs and boots but nothing.
At this point, I have no idea what else to do..
Aside fron that, the car runs smooth with no problems, and the ac blows cold hair.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I greatly appreciate it!
