ac delete help!

Hii all I'm new just picked up a 2002 lancer oz yellow that I'm tryin to restore. It has 200k miles and runs like a charm still. Anyways. I've searched above and beyond on this question and can't find a clear answer so plz anyone know what to do?

Question : my ac compressor is shot, making a constant loud grinding noise, took the belt off to verify and the noise went away, I'd like to run a shorter belt w.o removing the acc, does anyone know what belt to use for sure and how to route it? Also should I be worried about my crankpulley since it's not longer spinning the acc? I'd like to replace the acc nest spring but it's almost winter here in ny so no point in coming out of pocket 300 bucks right now, please any help would be great, I've read 2 diff. Belt sizes, one person said 42.9 another said 42.59 , but no pic or diagram on how to reroute the belt, thanks all for any help

I have an evo, but I also deleted my ac. I'm just going to take my existing belt to the autoparts store and tell them I need the same belt two sizes down. I will take it home and test fit it, if I need it shorter, I will take that one back and ask for an additional size down.

This works, done it with several cars, this way I don't have to get frustrated waiting days and maybe weeks for someone to give me an answer on the forum.

Edit - took me less than 5 minutes to find this...

Thanks alot for the help migsubishu , I've seen that thread but alot have seen others that show a slightly different size belt, my main concern is how to route the belt and if I should be worried about the crank pulley, but I think I've figured it out, thanks again tho
