Exhaust recommendations?

I got a 2012 ES CVT lancer 2.0 version and I'm trying to find a
exhaust to replace the stock one. I want to get one
that isn't too loud(something near stock). I can't seem
to find any here or on the net. All the exhaust I've seen people
suggest are loud ones. I want something quiet and just better than the stock ugly
exhaust.

Suggestions guys????

He means just the exhaust tip, just changing that can produce different sounds and of course appearance. I don't know about the newer Lancers but my 09 had the ugliest/giant muffler with it so if you want it nicer looking that way you will need an axelback (or buy a rear diffuser to hide it).

Don't ask me what kind, mine is loud as hell and you don't want that, lol.

So what axle back should I get?

I've read many people recommending the Greddy one but my car
is automatic(constant sound) and I think the greddy one is kind of loud...
I could get a tip in on the stock end pipe but that giant oval looking
thingy under my trunk still hanging and its ugly!

Sorry, I really don't know which one is quiet so I can't help you there. If aesthetics is your main concern, you could like I said buy a rear diffuser and that will hide that ugly *** stock muffler (if you see a ralliart or evo is the black piece by the exhaust that our car is missing). I'll be getting one myself someday, I like how it looks a lot more regardless, plus even tho my magnaflow isn't as ugly I'd still like to hide it so all you see is the exhaust tip.

If you want a quiet exhaust I would suggest bringing it to a shop or just changing the tip.

I have the Tsudo axleback (my diffuser hides the potato cannon) and I think it is quiet enough but people have told me it is loud and others have said it isn't loud at all. I will say sometimes I notice it is loud, like if I use my remote start and I'm walking towards the back of it, I can easily feel the rumble from a few feet away.

A cat-back like magnaflow might be to your liking but I think just changing the tip out would probably be best.

changing the tip on the stock exhaust/muffler? I thought it was 1 piece... I only knew about adding a chrome tip covering it(like a condom).

Got some links to actual parts so I can get a visual idea what it is/looks like?

The stock one is a slip on but most at an exhaust shop are weld on. I meant go to an exhaust shop, have them chop off the last 6-8 inches of the exhaust pipe and weld on whatever tip you want.

By oval box you mean your muffler?

You can chop off your muffler but it will be loud. An exhaust shop could put a smaller muffler or you could get an axle back. An axle back wont be as quiet and you'd have to talk to the exhaust shop to see what they have to keep it quiet. IIRC, the stock muffler has spring loaded doors and many different passages to quiet it down.

Maybe check out some diffusers to cover the ugly muffler and change the tips or decent what level of noise on a smaller muffler is acceptable

Sorry, I dont have a silencer. I never liked the higher pitched quiet sound of the stock exhaust.

And if it gets too loud, I have 2 12 inch subs to drown it out, lol.
