I have an Automatic 2003 lancer es, and my instrument cluster is all screwed up. Can I replace it with and evo one even though I don't have a manual transmission? Because I would like an evo cluster but I understand all evos are manual.

I have a evo8 one on my oz rally since installed @ 52k mile mark and car has over 120k and no issues... one thing u might have to do is if u get a evo8 one is remove the bulb for ics light. the cluster threw a false positive and light came on so I removed the bulb as it wasn't needed

 

also of note is your odometer will be off when you do the swap just a fyi and if you plan to sell the car that will be a problem..... in my case, I bought the cluster months before so when it came time to drop it in, I did so that very moment, pulled over and boom goes right in, milage is %100 on the dot for my car
