Where can i find the evo x oem recaro seats im going nuts looking for them and do they have a side airbag in them

Does anyone know if i would be able to fit 06 evo 8 recaro seats in my 08 lancer gts. Would they be compatible

 

i DO the same but i got also an error on the driver seat for the seat belt is not working the light and the sound for unfasten and also the ocm problem.

I do something wrong????

 

as long as you unplug an airbag harness in any car, without the battery connected or ignition being turned on and you plug it back in before doing those things, it will prevent the light.

 

i went to my dealer and asked how much evo x seats are. he said that they come in 3 pieces, which are the back part, the bottom cushion and the rails. a total of $3750.00 a piece. i swear that's not right because the package on the car isn't even that much for both. for the recaro sport package on the ralliart it's $2750 and you get both recaro seats, a rockford fosgate system, and HID lights. It's standard on the evo so i can't find a price on that. Sounds like a bunch of dealership BS to me.

question i saw that the driver side is lower height than the passenger side, is this correct?

 

anyone selling their recaros? i'm looking at buying some right now

 

Do you need to purchase new rails to put in the Recaros. Or will the stock ones work.

 

stock rails bolt right in, u do need the rails that came with the recaro seats

 

I just hooked up my seats and of course the airbag light came on. The dealership said I should change out the OCM on the bottom because they can't calibrate the seats because the vins aren't matching.

Anyone else have to do this? Any suggestions?

 

I wonder also if there's slightly different airbag programming (timing, thresholds, etc.) for the standard seats vs. the Recaro seats? Is there a different part number for the control unit and OCM, or is it just a VIN mismatch issue?
