diy rear diffusser.
diy rear diffusser.
Note::First real body work or mod.
Sample Materials.
-Poster board
-double side mouting tape
first i started off with some 0.5cm thick poster board
and some plastidip.Just to get preview.something like this.
just temporary till i decide how im going to approach it.

So I really like the MR rear,i decided to go for that look.
Materials needed.
-fiberglass mat
-fiberglass resin
-paint brush
-body filler
-poster board
-double side mouting tape.
-sandpaper
1.Cut out curved L shaped pieces from the poster board.(as shown in below.)
2.Cut thin strips of double side tape to connect to the bumper.
3.Once secure, lay fiberglass and begin to resin it,be careful not to move the pieces.you dont want it to be slanted.
4.Once dry sand till all smooth,if theres any holes apply some body filler and sand it down as well.
You should end up with something like this.
ill post the primed bumper later.
Sorry i did not go in depth.Just a guide line for you to get an idea on how to do it.
I wish i had pictures for the previous steps to be clearer but i didn't think about making the diy till after.
